Behavior Modification

For Dogs Needing Extra Support and Transformation

The Behavior Modification Board and Train Program is specifically designed for dogs one year and older who need help overcoming significant behavioral challenges. Whether it’s aggression, anxiety, reactivity, or general poor manners, this program offers the intensive, structured training necessary to address and modify complex behaviors.

What Our Behavior Modification Program Covers

Our behavior modification program is highly personalized, addressing each dog’s specific needs. Training is rooted in building confidence, reducing stress, and providing the tools for a calmer, more balanced state of mind. This program includes:

  • Aggression Management – Working with dogs that exhibit aggressive behaviors to promote calmness and better impulse control.
  • House Manners – Teaching dogs to respect household boundaries and demonstrate polite behaviors.
  • Obedience Training – Reinforcing basic obedience skills like Sit, Down, Place, and Heel to establish a foundation of listening and cooperation.
  • Leash Manners and Socialization – Creating a safe, positive environment for dogs to learn how to interact calmly with other dogs and people.
  • Threshold Training and Impulse Control – Teaching your dog patience and calmness in different settings and scenarios, reducing reactivity.
  • Play Drive and Confidence Building – Using play and engagement to build confidence and encourage positive behavior changes.

Daily Structure and Safe Environment

Your dog will stay in a structured home setting rather than a kennel, giving them the comfort and stability they need to succeed. Each day includes:

  • Carefully monitored training sessions, ensuring consistent practice and behavior reinforcement
  • Walks and treadmill exercise for physical activity and focus
  • Structured downtime to practice calm behavior in a low-stimulation environment
  • Optional playtime, where appropriate, to balance energy levels

Our program’s structure fosters steady, lasting improvement, with each aspect designed to support your dog’s unique behavioral goals.

Ongoing Support and Training for Owners

We know that behavior modification requires commitment from both the dog and the owner. Each week, we provide an in-depth session with you to explain and demonstrate the training techniques, helping you understand how to reinforce and build on your dog’s progress at home.

Program Cost

  • $2000 per week (minimum of 3 weeks required)
  • Included: Weekly owner training session and go-home session at the program’s conclusion to recap progress and ensure a smooth transition
